Last night Nadja, Matt, and I invited ourselves to the business student’s early arrival meeting to expand our network and get some good grub! After finding out that it is a PAIN to try to get a multiple entry visa to China (at least for US citizens) we succeeded in getting fairly disoriented at one of the MTR stations and had to hike to a different bus stop...making us a good hour late for the dinner. Questionably fashionable at best.

 

After making some new friends we headed out to Lan Kwai Fong again to test the party waters on Monday nights. There was not much open, but we ended up at a cool bar with a very good cover band (and I usually don’t like cover bands!).

 

Next thing I know it is 08:45 and Ben is waking me up telling me that we have to be at a tour that we signed up for in fifteen minutes! We did make it, and I was not too happy for the first hour or so, but after some walking around I felt reborn. The tour took us into Chinese daily life in the New Territories (the area between Hong Kong and mainland China).
